Never Again, They Said

Never again, will it happen, they said

Never again, will the Nazis purge, they said

Never again, will the children of Israel grieve, they said

Never again will we sit by

While they use their poisoned words, they said

While they call them vermin, rats and traitors, they said

While they spread their hate and theories, they said

About their faith and about their intentions, they said

While they say the Jews are treacherous, they said

While they prepare the ground for the gassings and rapes

While their poison works through the public’s veins, they said

While their headlines and stories purvey the hate, they said

While their propaganda blinds the masses, they said

Never again will such hatred breed, they said

Never again will we go to war, they said

With the whole world, with atomic bombs, they said

Never again will our children leave, they said

To toss their lives in the cauldron of war, they said

Never again will we see our rationing and our misery, they said

Never again will we let the world cave in, they said

Never again, they said, never again,

While these Muslim hordes fester amongst us, never again

While their creeping sharia lurks in the shadows, never again

While their men bed our girls and their women veil up, never again

While they say they’re the victims but really they’re lying, never again

While they hide in trojan horses, never again

While they kill our people for virgin brides, never again

Never again will hatred win, they said

Never again will the blood be spilled, they said

Never again will Europe sink, they said

Into the forges of raging wars, they said

Never again will we allow a country, they said

To impose its will upon another, they said

But while those others plot and scheme, never again

But while that country builds its arsenal, never again

While that nation stirs and threats, never again

Never again will we stand weak, they said

Never again will their weapons trump ours, they said

Never again will the rogues hold us to ransom, they said

Never again will we be tricked, they said

Never again will we deceive ourselves

Never again, they said, never again
